Together with photographer Janine Schrijver I’m working on a series of video’s for Erasmus MC. This year the new hospital building has been opened which means that the old Dijkzigt and Daniel den Hoed will be teared down. Because of this some murals and other site specific artworks will be vanished. We are documenting these art pieces.
NRC wrote an interesting article on the loss of works of art that were made for these buildings.
For this document I’m creating short video impressions of the works. With works by Dolf Henkes, Johan Reede, Henri van Nes, Ger van Iersel, Cees Bantzinger, Kees Franse and others.
